Show HN: YouTube's killing adblockers, so we made an undetectable one
Hey HN! Me and my brother made an Undetectable YouTube Adblocker that doesn't get detected by Youtube (yet anyhow). Would love to hear what you guys think!
- alexmolas 3y agoCould you elaborate on what you did to make it undetectable? What makes that product different from the other that already exist? On the plugin page there's no much information, and on this post neither. Thanks!
- column 3y agono source code = no download.
- sn00tz00t 3y agoI use Brave - still haven't seen an ad in years.
- reneberlin 3y agoI don't install extensions without reviewing the source and building it myself.
- KomoD 3y agoFor those who want to review the source: https://robwu.nl/crxviewer/?crx=https%3A%2F%2Fchrome.google.com%2Fwebstore%2Fdetail%2Fundetectable-youtube-adbl%2Fhjmfamljcjmabepekpangndlnkffealb https://robwu.nl/crxviewer/?crx=https%3A%2F%2Fchrome.google.... tldr; it just clicks the "skip ad" button if one appears in the first 5 seconds, so if one appears after, it's useless, or if it's unskippable, it's useless(?)
