The hype surrounding OpenAI and the black hole of credibility it created was a problem, it's only positive that it's taken down several notches. Better now than when they have even more (undeserved) influence.
- sebzim4500 3y agoI think their influence was deserved. They have by far the best model available, and despite constant promises from the rest of the industry no one else has come close.
- dkjaudyeqooe 3y agoThat's fine. The "Altman is a genius and we're well on our way to AGI" less so.
