Seems like you need to go from communication into to-do into work in a way that is easier then we do now. Your solution seems interesting, but it has very limited scope. Maybe something like what pg talked about in #2 of http://www.paulgraham.com/ambitious.html http://www.paulgraham.com/ambitious.html would work. We need different protocols for different types of communication. A protocol for sending todo requests, a protocol for sending personal notes, etc. It would need work to figure out the details though (it's something I'm working on for my startup, but I haven't spent a lot of time on this particular problem yet).
