The new CEO wants AI development to slow down to 10-20% what it is. How would open sourcing GPT-4 align with that?
- dacryn 3y agothat's misquoted by the Altman fanclub. the new CEO wanted to focus on something else than LLMs, because it's believed to be a dead end, and allocate more time and resources into grounding AI. they don't want AI to slow down, they want to try out something else and not put all their eggs in one basket. extremely big difference
