- lrvick 3y agoYeah, too little too late. Amputation will not stop the cultural cancer now. No matter though. Open source alternatives are catching up in a fraction of the development time. OpenAI has been left behind in the race for Open AI.
- nostrademons 3y agoThe cherry on top would be if, in all the chaos of employee departures, the GPT-4 weights got leaked online. Probably would be the best thing that could happen in turns of actually making AI "open", but also would unleash utter mayhem in the marketplace.
