The biggest advantage of EVs is that you can charge it at home.
Everyone has an electrical outlet at home. No one has a hydrogen plant at home.
The simple convenience of waking up and having a full "tank" can't be overstated.
- clausecker 3y agoIf you live in an apartment with only on-street parking, you frequently cannot in fact charge your EV at home. It's a big, often overlooked issue in cities.
- magicalhippo 3y agoHere in Oslo, Norway there's quite a lot of street chargers around. Not quite as convenient as having one in your garage, but much better than nothing. Though with cars getting longer ranges it's less of an issue. We got a new BEV recently and even though we have a charger at home we're down to charging once or twice a week for the most part.
