If the federal government set the tax, the states and cities wouldn’t get any of it.
- shortcake27 3y agoSo using your logic, in almost every other country in the world where sales tax is set at the federal level, states/counties/equivilant/cities don’t get tax money. Do you genuinely believe this, have you done any research, and are you happy to stick with this argument?
