That analogy doesn't make sense here since all the employees at OpenAI are extremely loyal to Sam. It's just the board that wanted him out.
And regardless of what happens here, everyone on the board is 100% getting fired.
- dylan604 3y agoJust like yesterday Sam 100% lied to the board and was on the outs. Today, it's 100% the board is getting fired and Sam is coming back on a white horse wearing shining armor.

- dylan604 3y agothe issue wasn't with board being fired, but the 100% claim.
- moralestapia 3y agoExactly my thoughts and the ex analogy; it would be extremely awkward for everybody as this event has tainted everyone's reputation at OpenAI. I'd think even MS may want to get out of the deal.
