I mean, I don't see how anyone can expect him to come back after the public bridge burning and condemnation. I think it's reasonable to think that, if anyone were in his shoes, they, too, would feel too hurt/exasperated to go back to the people who caused all of... this to them.

- nwoli 3y agoWell he seems pretty sold on the AGI idea and starting from scratch at a new place without the same data or same compute is quite the challenge
- spaceman_2020 3y agoHe already has a fantastic proof of concept. Sure, it will take a little longer, but he can easily raise the billions in funding and find the people to build it.

- spaceman_2020 3y agoBecause it will cost billions to build and run and the builders have no clue how to get the money, and once they have something built, how to keep the money flowing in.
