This is an interesting comparison. I've also had more magic time from ChatGPT than I did with cell phones, both before and with touch screens. Yet, cell phones are now in use by billions. AI may not have yet even "crossed the chasm." It's not a given that will happen e.g. because of complexity, user indifference, or high costs
