They make sense where there are specific internal secrets, it's not just about IC skillset necessarily. But it's true they're definitely overused.
- j45 3y agoFor sure trade secrets are important. What one company may consider a trade secret and whether it is can be another thing altogether. Customer lists or sales processes for example definitely can fall under the proprietary category.
