A naive observer (ahem, that might be me) could wonder why the AGPL did not become more widespread. It was, after all, created to address the exact scenario of someone taking GPL software and putting it on a server where people can access the service but not the code itself.
- euroderf 3y agoI've read enough well-reasoned articles in support of the AGPL that now when I see an article critical of the AGPL I tend to dismiss it offhand as a shill for corporate repo-raiders. YMMV.
