  You should find reporting that's accessible, you're still effectively posting a hard paywalled link. The other thing is that there are currently five stories about OpenAI events on the FP which is a few too many as it is - you're probably better off posting updates and your commentary there.

  Sorry for the belated reply - pvg is correct - that's still a paywalled submission, and users aren't supposed to submit links in text posts like that (this is in the FAQ: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html). I appreciate that you were trying to be helpful! This is one of those unfortunate cases where HN's rules conflict (one, that we want original sources; the other, that we don't want hardwalled URLs). In such a case we have to compromise. The best compromise seems to be to find a readable article that contains the significant information from the original report.
