Unusual weather may have helped Ukrainian military sink Russian warship
- nullindividual 3y agoThis is still one of my favorite sequence of events and a painting that still resides on my wall. Boris Groh releases "Russian warship, go f*k yourself!"[0] on Art Station, March 5th, 2022[1] featuring the Moskova off the coast of Zmiinyi (Snake) Island with a Ukranian soldier holding his rifle in his left hand with a lovely finger extended on his right. This painting was submitted in a contest to become a Ukranian postage stamp. He, of course, wins the contest as he should have given the significance. The stamp was published by Ukraine on April 12th[2]. On April 13th, the Moskva was hit with two Neptune missiles, sinking her[3] on April 14th due to "bad weather" while being towed.
