Most of the language we encounter is highly questionable, a "mobile army of metaphors, metonyms, and anthropomorphisms" (Nietzsche), whether human-made or machine-generated. That's part of what has made it so successful: an independence from the constraint of having to be "true". LLMs are using that property to their advantage but are hardly the source of it.
