- aurareturn 3y agoSo this is basically an article about a new university who supports Israel and is saying students shouldn't go to Ivy leagues and Stanford because they didn't comdemn Hamas.

- SamoyedFurFluff 3y agoWhat the heck are these sources? The first one gave me a popup with some wild nonsense about censorship from big tech. I really doubt that ivy leagues are that politically slanted, I mean, many of the republican politicians/think tanks/judges are from the same Ivy League schools.

- alephnerd 3y agoIt's overstated. UATX has been a passion project of the Founder's Fund crew for sometime now. They didn't get their accreditation until this year. It's supposed to be a new heterodox conservative university, but I don't see it having the same impact as Hillsdale College or Claremont McKenna College. Also, most of the popular conservative leaning intellectuals themselves prefer to stay at Ivy Leagues and Ivy League+ universites simply because those are the universities with the strongest humanities and social sciences faculties. For example, Niall Ferguson and Ayaan Hirsi Ali were both instrumental in helping found UATX, yet they are still employed by Stanford.
