While I believe that there is an unbiased truth, my conclusion is that it is not necessarily something that I can discover. I do not believe that those in the news are in a significantly better position to discover it either. This strongly suggests that we should assume that all recountings are biased. It is just sometimes easier to find the bias than it is at other times.
