I'm curious if this means Apple will run their own RCS service for their customers or will rely on a telco provided one. I tried to find info for example about RCS in Australia, and saw a piece about Telstra launching RCS in 2017... but now it's apparently turned off and customers are expected to use the Google RCS service?
