I'm not so much saying it's fine (it clearly isn't), but that it seems to be grandstanding to me. Maybe it will yield some positive results for kids, even if at the cost of having official truth validators and/or uncensorable outrage porn for everyone else.
- burnished 3y agoThats fair, from the article alone I can't tell. They perform psychological research in order to make their product addictive though so I'm biased to believe this could be more of a 'banality of evil' type situation rather than a boogeyman hunt with fun civil liberties consequences.
