- tekla 3y agoOf course, the poster said overweight or obese, and they would be right. https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/obesity-prevention-source/obesity-trends-original/obesity-rates-worldwide/ https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/obesity-prevention-source/obesi... > Roughly two out of three U.S. adults are overweight or obese (69 percent) and one out of three are obese (36 percent). Disgusting trends
- spacemadness 3y agoUuuugh BMI. Something a twelve year old might come up with but is still the gold standard. Every weight lifter has a laugh when it comes back as overweight or obese and they get suggestions on how to trim down. For non-strength sport practitioners it may make more sense.
- formerly_proven 3y agoYes, clearly a majority of the population are well-trained athletes. It's all muscles and heavy bones.
- oblio 3y ago> For non-strength sport practitioners it may make more sense. Aka 99% of people out there?
- SketchySeaBeast 3y agoThe poster you're responding to said obese or overweight. Maybe they edited after you responded?
