- dontupvoteme 3y agoWent viral on tiktok when it was supposed to have been memoryholed, thus forcing the Guardian to take the PR hit by revealing their lack of journalistic integrity and deleting it. If they were really worried about "context" they could have added something before the article.
- epolanski 3y agoCould you expand on the "lack of integrity"?
- dontupvoteme 3y agoDeleting an article you published, in particular with no explanation or justification? At least it's slightly less worse than silently editing them after the fact, which we've also seen a lot of newspapers doing in recent times.
- massysett 3y agoI disagree that this is a lack of integrity. An organization has no obligation to maintain documents on its website in perpetuity.
