Seems like a very bad reason to switch. Data engineering is different (and much worse than SWE in my opinion), and it's not like you're certain that you can avoid LC interviews if you try to switch.

- isbvhodnvemrwvn 3y agoYou are data plumber, lots of dealing with other people's shit and people who don't know what they want.
- datadrivenangel 3y agoThis is correct, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you don't end up with the same thing in application engineering.
