A+ quality rant. Some of thes are 'out there' and indulge in compositional fallacies, but I agree with the sentiment – and it can all be mapped backed to the attitudes of the robber barons of yore. I don't think it's conspiracy so much as emergent though; an ideological slope that you can't help but fall down given the way incentives are aligned in SV and big business writ large.
