there are millions of americans that live in apartments, condos or row houses, some have parking lots, some park on the streets but there is no place to plug in. Not only that, there are lots of people that go on short trips, like for a weekend, and they really dont want to plan around chargers. EVs really are only a good idea if you can plug in at home and just use your car for commuting and shopping.
