- johnny99k 3y agoIt's around the holidays and a bad economy. Be prepared to be out of work for at least until the new year. I got laid off about 5 years ago 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. It took me until a day before Christmas to finally land a job after multiple interviews. I ended up starting in mid-January.
