The writer assumes other people are also relatively privileged as a writer and not worry about money/job and have free-time for idle chit chat
Also seen this and doing "rejection tests" -- someone with too much freetime on their hands or who has ADHD. Other people would label this behavior as weird
- timeagain 3y agoIn my experience poor people are way friendlier than rich people and more likely to strike up a conversation. It is in fact the well-off who have the privilege of not getting along with their fellow humans—they can just pay them to do stuff instead of trading favors and building community.
