IMHO, LLMs will increase the amount of programming done, not reduce it. People with absolutely no programming experience or -skills can now produce programming, which was not the case before. Second, as they do this mindlessly some portion of what they manage to produce will have to be refactored eventually, creating more work for people who actually know what they do.
