Gonna have to correct you here. Measure 110 was supposed to bring decriminalization and treatment. The treatment just never really materialized.
- thomastjeffery 3y agoOK, so decriminalization and treatment are separate avenues that were combined into one measure. The first materialized, and the second did not. You have reiterated my point.
- comte7092 3y agoI mean if you completely re characterize the measure to mean what you want it to mean, then yes. The measure linked the two, they were not treated as separate.
- thomastjeffery 3y ago...and yet, here we are: the decriminalization part was successfully implemented, and the treatment part was not. It doesn't matter how or why the treatment aspect of that measure failed: it only matters that it did. The reality, as clearly laid out by the article, then reiterated by me, then by you, is that drugs were decriminalized and people addicted to those drugs did not receive treatment. We are on the same page here. What needs to happen now is to resolve the treatment failure.
