Very effective website. It already knew my location (yay surveillance) and would have made it very easy to buy tickets for a showing right down the street from my house.
- mikestew 3y agoIt already knew my location (yay surveillance) Meh, just IP geotagging. The site thought I'm in Enumclaw, WA ("Renton is closest cinema? I'm not driving to Renton. Hey, wait a minute..."). Take a look at a map and you'll realize that's a bit of a hike from Redmond. Browser should block anything more precise with a permission dialog.
- amanzi 3y agoI'm in Wellington NZ, and this shows the closest screening to me is 5609 miles away in Hawaii.
