- hajile 3y agoF# is a very under-appreciated language.
- bmitc 3y agoI feel it may be the most underappreciated and misunderstood language out there. It either gets labeled as "never heard of it", "isn't that like Haskell?", or "isn't that Windows only?". Meanwhile, it's the perfect replacement for Python. You can write it just like you do Python, essentially, but it has sane syntax and semantics, type inference, and static typing plus functional features while retaining all of the imperative and OOP features and more.
