Unless it's a hybrid, EVs just aren't that practical yet. You can't travel that far on one charge, it can take over an hour, even on a quick charge, and the infrastructure is lacking. If you have a family with small kids, it's an impossibility.
I also have to laugh because the UAW is against EVs (this has been stated many times by the president). The cars require less people to build them.
- bryanlarsen 3y agoI did a 3000 km trip with kids four times in an EV during the pandemic. Not only was it possible, it was very pleasant. With kids, bathroom breaks and snack breaks consume more time than charging does.
- gaganyaan 3y agoThe range is great, charging is not an issue, and they work great with small kids. Have you actually tried one, or just sneered at them from a distance?
