I’m far more threatened by pennies-on-the-dollar third world contracting firms (and the businesses that abuse and manipulate hiring regulations to make use of them) than the immature novelty tool that is generative AI. That being said, those firms are certainly making use of these tools - relying on their underpaid programming staff to clean up the output into something useable for the client.
