- spikels 3y agoRumor is Starship will do the belly flop but not the last minute vertical flip. Not sure why. This graphic capture my understanding of what people outside SpaceX are expecting for this test. - jakemoshenko 3y agoI believe it has to do with not wanting to have to recover the ship. By belly-flopping it into the ocean they can assume it disintegrated.
