(I suppose there's ChatGPT or other AI for that...) Also note that none of these lists are all-inclusive for all worldwide payment providers and services, and also note that this Market (with a capital "M") -- apparently has a value in the billions of dollars... In other words, any would-be entrepreneur with the skill to build apps who wanted to compete in a pre-existing Market -- would probably have a better shot at making money in the payments space (despite the intense and formidable competition) -- than in all other pre-existing Markets... That's just a guess of course, looking at the revenue data... If anyone wants to tell me I'm wrong, I'll accept it -- but if you do, then kindly support your claim with actual data of a larger pre-existing Market (with revenue reports showing dollar amounts please!) where the bar to entry of that Market is simply creating an app which moves several bytes of data (roughly, per customer) from point A to point B... Remember, PayPal is one of the original companies in this Marketspace -- that put Elon Musk on the map... Anyway, I think it would be an interesting idea to list (and compare!) all of the world's payment companies, in 2023, by revenue (income, expenses, gross/net profits, EDBITA, etc., etc.)
