- ceejayoz 3y agoI picked the first Google results for what appears to be a pretty common problem; people carrying $20k worth of very obvious equipment make good robbery targets. You do inadvertently highlight an issue for your argument; SF doesn't even show up on the top 20 list for violent crime. It is "well below that of other cities of a similar size" for homicides, and in the lower half for other violent crimes.
