The result in the end is simple: It will be cheaper in the long run to mitigate the cause than the effects.
- aeternum 3y agoThe same argument was made for Eugenics. Less human suffering if we sterilize people now vs. let them starve later. Turns out all it took to solve food production was inventing a process to extra Nitrogen from the air. Even scientists are notoriously bad at predicting future tech breakthroughs.
