I think that this largely comes down to company culture and how comfortable people are pushing back at senior leaders (the onus being on senior leaders to make it comfortable for people under them to push back). The best leaders, in my experience, show humbleness and a willingness to listen. That said, sometimes working on bullshit is just part of the gig. If there’s too much of it, by all means look for another job, but don’t be the guy who is always second guessing management.
