  This is a waste of taxpayer funds. Federal spending is 37% of GDP, this is not sustainable.

    To put this in perspective, in 2022 NASA was responsible for 0.4% of the federal budget. I'm not sure where that 37% is coming from either. In 2022 it was more like 25%. We don't have firm numbers for 2023 yet, but from looking at the early numbers, it looks like it's going to be similar.
