Open Source WearOS DC Bus Prediction App
- mylab6 3y agoHi all, here's a basic Wear OS app which tries to predict bus times in Washington DC. It took me about 20 hours or so to get this working. Had a ton of fun with this, and I definitely plan on making more WearOS apps in the future. Thanks for reading.
- jauntywundrkind 3y agoDC used to have a very active very excellent Transportation Techies app that would have loved to hear how you built this. Maybe someday it'll re-start! Thanks for sharing! Thanks for open sourcing!
- mylab6 3y agoThanks for checking it out. I built it primarily for my own use since WearOS doesn't offer a lot of good public transit apps. I opened sourced it since I don't really feel like publishing it on the Android store. I hope others can learn from it!
