Resumes are not the issue. Frankly the focus on resume writing is nonsense, and seemingly a grift.
What matters in a resume is: Employer name, Your title, brief description of what you did in bullet points.
It does NOT need to use the STAR format.
- marginalia_nu 3y agoIf you're a halfway attractive employer, reducing the number of candidates is the primary problem in recruiting. Resumes and cover letters are in theory basically a proof of work check to ensure you're interested enough to spend time on the application.
