- gwern 3y agoNot really that interesting - a bit too insider-baseball (not explaining the significance of 'Frankfurt' for example), but also doesn't go deep enough to shed any interesting light on 'hollow men' or salesmanship. (The AI comments are also offbase: neither agent nor interviewer appreciate that ChatGPT is outright designed to yield bad results for that application, by the RLHFing, and so any attempt to say 'AI is hopeless at creative writing' based on ChatGPT is highly misleading.
