Yea, I have a very similar experience. ChatGPT unblocks me quickly in conceptual understanding when it comes to coding. My programming knowledge is pretty good, but in certain areas I had a hard time understanding something and just skipped it. Oauth is an example of this. ChatGPT unblocked me there as well and explained the theory behind it both in the abstract case and the case pertaining to my situation. So now it's much more clear. But my mind kind of works like: once I'm stuck I endlessly do my best to understand it, which sometimes mean that I grind to a halt. ChatGPT stops that entirely. The fact that it always produces 2 to 3 bugs is fine.
