- disillusioned 3y agoSorry, this is weirdly confusing and nuanced: Google had to drop the pre-Matter Thread bridging implementation that the Home Hub Max supported for the likes of the Nest x Yale door lock and Nest Detects. The transition to support Matter was at the expense of compatibility with the particular way they handled bridging before.
