Here’s the current list for the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/section/corrections https://www.nytimes.com/section/corrections Should we not read the news…or is it an opportunity to verify what one reads (aka mental hygiene)…?
- pauldenton 3y agoThe Soviet newspaper Pravda issued corrections too. I wouldn't trust it more than the New York Times. https://nypost.com/2022/02/20/the-absurd-russiagate-pulitzer-of-the-ny-times-and-washington-post/ https://nypost.com/2022/02/20/the-absurd-russiagate-pulitzer... They didn't retract their Pulitzer for Russiagate. They never retracted their stories about Iraq having WMDs in 2003 either. Their excuse is coached language, like the 50 intelligence agencies who signed a letter saying the NYPost Hunter Biden Laptop story had "all the hallmarks of Russian Disinformation", Saddam had all the hallmarks of having WMDs so there's no need to retract.
- dirtyhippiefree 3y agoI believe nobody. Likewise, I don’t seek to be right. I am a man of science and post [Citation Needed] on occasion. I seek to be correct. If one is Right, they must defend their position. If one is incorrect, updating is usually easy and quick, unless something needs to be dealt with…current facts only, please…
