As a city slicker, I’ll admit that my appreciation of cars has increased since moving in without one. I enjoy not having to drive for daily tasks, but being able to put a big Costco haul in your trunk is undeniably nice, a lot of outdoor recreation is (and can only be) practical with a car, and car renting is in a sorry state right now. It’s a pain in the ass and in the wallet, if you like to take trips on the weekends.
