I don't understand why people compare it too Python. They are so far from eachother. Python has horrible builtin tooling and Go has great builtin tooling. Go is very restrictive language, while Python is not. Go has horrible FFI support, while Python has some of the best FFI support. I think the only thing that is similar between them is both of them are easy to understand compared to most languages. I mean you don't see people building AI/ML, Data Science lib raries in Go for a reason.
