  That's impressive in all the wrong ways but I applaud you for the effort. Why not just use something like pillow and render the image serverside?

  As an enhancement, you could use OCR to automatically extract the text from the image and add it as alt text. You could even use an LLM to fix up text extracted from OCR - I think even a relatively small local LLM could probably be trained to fix it up. (Yes, this is perhaps overcomplicated.)
