In Ohio, by default a father has 0 custody of his children, even after paternity is established. Ohio has some of the most unequal and unfair child custody laws and Ohio House Bill 14 aims to bring the state into the 21st century (kicking and screaming). In Ohio over 80% of the time the mother gets 100% custody after separation, this is grossly unlike most other states where 50/50 is the default and the most common outcome.
