Indeed, the AAIB report I had in mind is purely hypothetical. There are other organizations better-positioned to publish a visually appealing, well-written preliminary report of a non-aircraft accident. But I like the AAIB style of having concise descriptions, clear illustrations, and succinct tabular data. I prefer it to the NTSB’s standard format, and do believe I will read some more of these.
