Visualizing a neural net in 3D using HackMatrix, my full 3D window manager/de
- collinalexbell 3y agoHackMatrix is a 3d window manager written in C++, OpenGL, and Xlib. It uses a ZMQ api so any language can interact with the 3d environment. Here I am rendering an MNIST neural network written in tinygrad, along with its strongest connections and activations using python bindings to the ZMQ API. I wrote all the code for the neural net and its 3d rendering while inside the 3d environment. I plan on using this 3d window manager as a game engine for a hacker university MMO that will teach software engineering in a fun way.
